We are pleased to announce that the proposal for Technical Assessment on Circular Economy and Ecodesign in the company Victorino Martin (Dehesa y Cría) has been approved and will be part of the LookUp project (https://lookupthesky.eu/), which provides support to tourism SMEs in the "Triple Transition" when discovering the value of heaven as a destination.
The objective of the Programme is to increase the competitiveness of tourism enterprises by promoting sustainability strategies and tourism innovations linked to the conservation of natural heritage and biodiversity, and the development of rural tourism and ecotourism, with special attention to the slow tourism activities that can be carried out along the seasons.
360 Soluciones will help to integrate eco-design and the circular economy in the products, services and business model of Dehesa y Cría, in order to reduce its environmental impact and increase its competitiveness in the market.
The first step will be to train staff on sustainability, eco-labelling, circular economy and eco-design. These training sessions will allow employees to understand the importance of these practices and how to apply them in their daily lives.
Subsequently, a diagnosis will be made of the level of eco-design and circular economy in the company, which will serve as a basis for developing a detailed action plan adapted to their specific needs. This plan will include concrete strategies to optimize the use of resources in the tourist services offered by Dehesa and Cría.
This collaboration will not only benefit the company, but also the territory in which it operates. By implementing more sustainable practices, we will contribute to the conservation and responsible management of the dehesa, an emblematic ecosystem of Extremadura. In addition, we will promote responsible and ecological tourism, which appreciates and preserves the rich biodiversity and natural values of the region.
We are excited to embark on this journey towards more sustainable and responsible tourism. Together, we will build a better future for our planet and our communities.
