The construction sector needs to challenge its usual practices and innovate faster than ever. To this end, METABUILDING, an EU-funded H2020 project, has developed an innovation ecosystem bringing together construction stakeholders and four emerging industrial sectors; recycling and circularity, additive manufacturing, nature-based solutions and digital industry.
Bio-EcoMatter is one of the successful and winning collaborative projects of METABUILDING that have been presented in Brussels at the event "Metabuilding: Enhancing the circularity in the Construction Sector" organized by EuRIC – the European recycling industries and European Construction, built environment and energy efficient building Technology Platform on 26 April 2023.
The event consisted of a workshop on circular economy and recycling practices in the construction environment to bring together stakeholders from the construction and recycling sector, including industry associations, TOs, policy makers, enterprises and SMEs.
